Teachers
Our teachers are highly qualified and experienced individuals. All teachers have Victorian Institute of Teaching Certification. The majority of our teachers have Special Education qualifications and extensive experience in working with students who have a range of disabilities.Our teachers are required to attend regular professional development activities. The school offers on-going professional development workshops to ensure all staff are kept up-to-date on the latest information and research.
Our teachers work in teams with teacher assistants, the specialist teaching staff, and the therapy staff to ensure that educational programs meet the needs of our students.
To ensure a best practice model for students with specialist needs we maintain a low student to staff ratio.
